Something that has made me so excited the past couple of months in Shoe Land?

The collaboration between french shoe label Mellow Yellow and designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac !!

So coincidentally after just posting this yesterday, the collection has actually been launched early and are in stores and online right now! It was originally due to be launched in September 2011, and I’m not quite sure why they brought the date forward, but regardless it’s better news, right?

It seems that the range launched has actually gone through a few slight changes compared to the original stock image above. For example, the smile on the Mickeys have disappeared, and a few other styles have come out which aren’t featured above. Nonetheless, still very pop culture-inspired and zesty, I love it!

The sad news however, is that they don’t come in my size!!! I am a size 10 in shoes and they only range up to a size 9 (EUR 39) – completely devastated!! But if you’re not in France, you can still get them online at online french shoe-retailer Sarenza for those lucky enough to have smaller feet!

If I had the chance, the Mickey flats, tassle heels and bow heels would all be instantly added to my shopping bag causing a catastrophe for my credit card! The collection ranges between 159-259 € across the models.
