Top 10 ~ RAFW SS 11/12

With Rosemount Sydney Fashion Week well and truly over for this year, here in hindsight are my top 10 picks from the week that was. Twitter very much kept me in the loop during that week and thanks to trusty old Vogue, images of most of the collections can be seen online here. My favourite collections were definitely those by Carl Kapp, Dion Lee and Yeojin Bae, what were yours?

The common trends seemed to be mainly a lot of lace, laser cut motifs, colour blocking ♥ and soft 70s silhouettes. Tailored and sharp minimalism and Mediterranean-influenced dresses were also regular appearances. And the hot colours? Shades of peach, pink, mustard and lilacs were in abundance – yum! I would be craving for a fruit cocktail right now if the weather wasn’t so cold…
