The biggest thing I missed about Australia whilst I was in Europe for a year was the weather. Especially in the middle of winter. It’s not everywhere in the world where you can still humanely visit the beach, be wearing only a few layers (or even none, like some!) whilst basking under the sunlight. All this. In the middle of winter!
Luckily I had my camera with me this past weekend when we coincidentally, on a whim, decided to go to Manly beach for a short walk since the weather was so fine. Whilst not every single winter’s day in Sydney is this perfect, the fact that there are some that are makes the cold season a bit more bearable!
